The Adventures of Haggis and Haji
A little while ago, Nateene and I bought two rubber goldfish so that we could take pictures of them in strategic locations. The plan was to get pictures similar to those of the globe-trotting lawn gnome in Amelie, except in different places in the UK. And we decided to name them Haggis and Haji, one for the obvious reasons and the other for the Johnny Quest character.
We don’t always remember the two little guys, but we do have a few snaps of them. As we’re not done over here, there will be more to come.

Don,
“Johnny Quest” was one of the first color television cartoon shows. It also showed on Friday evenings at 7:30PM. My rich friend- Mark Collins down-the-street in Baltimore was one of the first families to buy a color television set. I used to “stay over” at Mark’s house and our evnings would begin with a tv dinner and a soda (I wasn’t allowed soda at home) and “Johnny Quest”. What opulence!
Grandpa Dave finally bought a color television after we all moved out to Delaney Court in Baltimore County when I was a teenager. I grew up with black and white.
Love,
Dad
